The Inspiration for the collection
Debbie's journey through the turbulent waters of breast cancer began when her boys were mere toddlers, their innocent laughter echoing through hospital corridors as she underwent treatment. The first diagnosis stole her breath but not her spirit; she fought fiercely, determined to see her boys grow. And grow they did, alongside her courage, through surgeries, chemo sessions, and heart-wrenching uncertainties.
Years passed, and breast cancer dared to knock again. Debbie faced it head-on, knowing the higher stakes, with school-age children now watching her battle. They became her pillars, understanding her strength even when words failed. Their unwavering support mirrored the strength she poured into each day.
As her boys matured into men, Debbie's story transcended mere survival and became a beacon of resilience. Her advocacy for breast cancer awareness and support for fellow fighters earned her a place in the hearts of many.
